Just saw the new Dee and Ricky...

One of my guys down at the G-Shock counter recently attended a pre-launch party of sorts, and was able to sneak out some pics of the watch in question with his iPhone (apparently they were pretty adamant about the no-pics crap). Anyway, it's exactly what we thought it would be -- a white GA-110 with Lego-colored highlights. It looks as though the color scheme might be a bit different from the original, but otherwise it's the same deal, only in white. Personally, I'm gonna buy as many as I can, but I will say that I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't get a bit more creative this time around (you know, use a different module, mix things up with the bands, etc...). Either way, it'll still get stoopid expensive in no time flat (the original is up to $800 now).

Once I get an idea of just how many I can get my hands on, we'll start to figure out how these are distributed. There are a couple of folks who missed out on the first one that automatically go to the front of the line, and then there are some others to whom I've already promised this watch.

With a little luck, I'll be able to wipe out the supply at Herald Square and hook y'all up. Even so, I'll find out the precise release dates and allocations, so you guys can try and grab some on your own before they're snapped up.
