Casio Pathfinder
I know this forum is geared toward G-Shock but I was hoping for some input on a Pathfinder? I have an opportunity to pick up a like new All Titanium Pathfinder for $100. I have done some research on my own as far as Price & near as I can tell they run about $350. I guess my biggest question is about all of the functions that this watch performs, are they pretty accurate & do you need to be a Rocket Scientist to figure out how to operate.
Thanks alot

Re: Casio Pathfinder
Hey Bob, do you happen to know what model number it is? There are atomic Pathfinders which synch up to the atomic clock at Ft. Collins in Colorado. I have a number of atomic G's and they are as spot on accuracy wise as they come. As to all the features, yeah it can be a bit overwhelming but if you read the manual you will be fine. And no, you won't have to turn in your Man Card if you read the manual

Hey Brian, thanks alot for the quick response, it is Atomic & calibrates itself every night at 0200Hrs (2:00am). There are 4 numbers in a small box 3043 & next to that it says PAW-1100T. The front says Tough Solar-Wave Ceptor Multi Bands & on the Bezel it says compass, barometer & altimeter. Does that help at all, & you are sure about that man card issue right!! lol Thanks again Brian...........Bob

If it is a atomic Pathfinder watch then you will have no worries about the accuracy
. Here is a link with a good description of the watch and all the features that it has.

Re: Casio Pathfinder
I have two pathfinders. I find the temperature (off the wrist) to be pretty accurate, as well as the barometer. The altitude is a bit more sketchy IMHO.
If you can work a Gshock, a Pathfinder is no problem.
Oh, and the compass seems pretty accurate as well, at least for general use.

Casio Pathfinder:
Does anyone know if you can drop the resin band for something else? If so, how do you remove the resin band?
Thanks,
Mark
