Looking for a perfect G-Shock that can fit on my 6-inch (15 or 16 cm) wrist?
I recently decided to retire my G-Shock GW-M500A of three years. The band is way too uncomfortable to wear and it didn’t have a perfect fit for me (it’s either too loose or way too tight), and finding NATOs straps and strap adapters for it is downright impossible to find, it’s like they don’t even exist, so I decided to look for an another G-Shock.
I have my eyes set on DW-6900 but I’m also looking for ones that have the perfect fit for my 6-inch wrist. Not sure if the DW-6900 have a perfect fit on my 6 inch wrist.
Not much of a criteria here but to make it easy on you:
- Analog, digital and ana-digi are fine
- I always prefer black G-Shocks. Other colors are either too flashy for me or didn’t really fit my tastes.
- I’m okay with non-solar and solar, though I’m leaning towards non-solar
- No square G-Shocks. As much as I like them, I’m looking for round (if that’s the correct word for it?) G-Shocks like the aforementioned M500A and DW6900.
- straps that have the perfect fit for 6 inch (15-16cm) wrists
Recommendations are always welcome

Look at the new pro trek
Prw 30y is the one I have.
They made them smaller than the other pro treks and they have normal lugs so strap changes are a breeze

The older Mudman models fit great on smaller wrists.

Gulfman is the best fitting G Shock in my opinion
Perfect size, not bulky at all.
The older G9100 were not solar and are still easy to find.

Excellent recommendation. I’ve been searching for a perfect condition navy blue model for a while to go with my orange one.BBK357 wrote:Gulfman is the best fitting G Shock in my opinion

6900 is gonna feel big on a 6” wrist. I’d start with the og gwm-5610 and size up from there.
Edit: just saw the no square g’s. I think you’re missing out on an awesome piece but agree with the above mentions if those are out.

By big, he means enormous. 6900 is a terrible choice for a small wrist. This is the same case on my 7.25” wrist.smalls wrote:6900 is gonna feel big on a 6” wrist. I’d start with the og gwm-5610 and size up from there.

I have a 6.75” wrist. Of ALL the G’s I’ve owned, the square ones are the ones that wear the best. 5600 line is a classic, and this new ones are extremely nice:smalls wrote:6900 is gonna feel big on a 6” wrist. I’d start with the og gwm-5610 and size up from there.

Yup, my wrist is 6.75” and the 5600 line is best for me as well.Joeprez wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 11:21 amI have a 6.75” wrist.
