Haveston IVA -Uncle Straps Velcro All Purpose

Anyone able to compare these two or even comment in general?

I like the look of the Navy IVA and the Uncle All Purpose Velcro In every color except black.

One other question, I am thinking of wearing these "upside down" or with the canvas/nylon facing up while adjusting the buckle loop location. Yeah at that point its a single pass nato style but without a buckle. I just don't know how the velcro being exposed all the time would last.

I saw one picture where someone setup the Haveston so that there was no length under the caseback (velcro loop both sides)
but I don't think that would work on my 7.75" wrist. Could try.
