Retro Aquatic Tropique
Retro Aquatic Tropique
Saw these on WUS and thought that I'd give one a try. They look nice and appear to be well made. Only $35.

How do they feel? I love the look of my uncle seiko tropics but they are not comfortable at all (IMHO)
Re: Retro Aquatic Tropique
Not sure yet, but anything's got to be more comfortable than an Uncle Seiko.

Re: Retro Aquatic Tropique
The most comfortable by a mile(s) is the “Original” Tropics IMHOP. Mike said they would be and had to bite the bullet to try. Amazing fit, finish and comfort. To me; Well worth the investment and best overall rubber strap I have had. This includes all ranges and prices of rubber straps and I have tried most all of them.
Actually thinking trying on my SeaDweller. These were actually the very straps offers by Rolex back in the day.

Nothing beats a genuine Tropic, but for the price, the RA isn't bad. I bought a second one - a 22mm blue, and it wears nicely. Very comfortable.

Where are the best places to get the originals? I have one, and it is still great. Want another.

If you're willing to spend well over $200., Squinky (Bill Mahoney) on ebay has quite a few. Other than that, the odd ebay seller may offer one at a more reasonable price.

Wonder what happened to this venture? He stopped posting about the straps on WUS, and last IG post was August of 21.
