The Maratac mil-bait strap, sold by CountyComm, has long been my favorite nato strap. The combination of heat-welded and stitched makes it extra durable, while the nylon material has been both soft and sturdy. The hardware has been brushed stainless steel, at least until now….
Long ago I suggested to Mike (@ CC) they do a version with blasted or black hardware, to better match watches without a brushed or polished case.
A couple weeks ago I ordered some of the mil-nato straps and they arrived yesterday. To my surprise these latest ones have matte finish / blasted hardware.
I just wanted to share as some of you may want this style.

Edit: the hardware is also profile slightly different, with ever so slight curve to make the keepers more oval rather than rectangular like the prior ones. It’s still easy to feed the strap when you double back, but you don’t have so much side to side play of the keeper. It’s well done.
