Prototype buckle!
I just got in a 24mm version roller buckle from Todd yesterday. I owned one of the Ennebei versions in the past, I have to say this one is just as good imo.
I will get it mounted on a watch/strap soon.
Thanks Todd and great job!!

Re: Prototype buckle!
Looks great !! I'm in for a couple.
what sizes will be available ? I'd be in for a 20mm, 22mm and a 24mm
Terry please mount it and provide feed back on the ease of the buckle tang going in and off the strap. More so on ease/difficulty of removal from the wrist.
How about we see this also mounted to a Toxic Nato

Mark I will ask Todd about the hex head size. He has been out of the loop lately with a gastro bug, so once he starts felling better I think these will start flowing out.
Danny, right now I only heard about 22-24mm. Maybe 20mm also. But I will see.
Guys I have a strap coming in from Art that I will put it on and post pics asap. The work on this buckle is outstanding. I think it will sell quite well, especially at the price point Todd wants them at.

You know how I roll (a bit on the kinky side).
Very important how it goes in, but most importantly, how it pulls out. Gotta be smooth like butta!

I have pins and rollers to suit 22mm and 24mm only.Danny_T wrote:Looks great !! I'm in for a couple.

The Hex bolts are 2.5mm key size and 4mm overall. If I made 20mm buckles, I would have to drop that size to suit the smaller sides and have smaller pins.
The screws and pins I had made for me, the rest I make here, so it would be a matter of buying in 250 sets at least.
I will see the demand for 20mm buckles over the coming few months, and if there is one that would justify the purchase of the pins and screws, I will happily make them.

At your intended $35 price tag I don't see you sitting on stock long. Hope the demand is there for 20mm.t20569cald wrote:I have pins and rollers to suit 22mm and 24mm only.Danny_T wrote:Looks great !! I'm in for a couple.

Will you be offering different finishes or just the brushed ?

So I have been quite ill, and have cut some buckles, but a lot of finishing work needs to be done and in between my day job at that.
Terry's buckle took me 3 hours work after cutting it, so some streamlining needs to be done to speed it up.
I am cutting 22mm tangs right now, and will get to making a couple a day at the moment to have them on my site in approx 2 weeks time.
I am buying (waiting for it) a deburring machine, which will greatly speed up the process, and if I can get it down to 30 mins hand finishing, then I can turn out a few and this with being unwell is the reason I have none to sell now. I expected this disc finishing machine weeks ago!

Re: Prototype buckle!
So I will likely sell them for a higher price to be determined, but have them at $34 with a DWC promo code. So $34 for you fine gentlemen.Danny_T wrote:At your intended $35 price tag I don't see you sitting on stock long. Brushed, and bead blasted for sure, and polished I need to practice a bit before I offer it. I have everything, just need to get that worked out where it does not take half a day
