Sandwich dial Luminors are back!

Post by pbj204 » Sat Sep 15, 2018 8:16 am

A new Destro Luminor model hits the collection. The #PAM796 44m Luminor Marina in Steel. This model features an 8 Day P.5001 in house hand wound movement with power reserve indicator you can see through the clear sapphire case back. Priced at $6,900 USD\

The #Panerai #PAM795 Luminor 8 Day Power Reserve with arrow indicator on the dial. This piece is a 44mm Luminor case in steel and features a P.5002 in house hand wound movement. Been a while since we saw an arrow reserve indicator as well as it being on a Luminor case. Priced at $6,700

The #Panerai #PAM797 44mm Luminor Marina Titanium Power Reserve. The brown sandwich dial features a throwback arrow power reserve indicator and is powered by a hand wound P.5002 Calibre. Priced at $7,100 USD

Ideally I'd like the 796 with a regular crown, but I like the 795 despite the power reserve on the dial.

Miss my 111; never should have sold it. I like these. Do you know what the water resistance rating for these is?

I couldn’t agree more. I’m a big guy and never had a desire for a Panerai larger than 44.

Have had a couple of Luminors at 44 and agree - great size. Haven’t had a 45 mm Radiomir on but I’ve heard that they wear similarly to the Luminors?

I'd say a 45mm Rad wears smaller than a 44mm Luminor.

I'd agree with that. My 190 wears a bit smaller than my 000.
