Speedy PRO

Post by 425ranger » Fri Nov 05, 2010 9:11 am

I went through a minor SOC change.... and sold the Speedy CoAX. I was just so much invested in a daily wear watch. So I bought a few watches for bang around duty. This older Speedy was very inexpensive and requires only a new bezel (enroute). I don't think I'll go all in and refurbish it. The 42mm size wears very well indeed, tight and close to the wrist.... the UTS being the opposite.

I now know why this model has stood the test of time. It's excellent.

Couple crappy cellphone pics....

Looks good Bill. And getting one of those and being able to say "inexpensive" in the same sentence is a good thing. So did you get a new or used UTS 600m chrono? Robert's pvd version is mighty tempting.

Nicely done. I'm right behind you, Bill. I've decided if I'm gonna get a chronograph, it's gotta be a Speedy Pro.
