Missed It Way Too Much ...

Post by jad3703 » Fri Sep 07, 2012 5:47 pm

It's funny how a watch gets under your skin and just clicks at so many levels, even when you (foolishly) got rid of it (twice) before.

This time it's here to stay and I even got a fairly decent deal on it. This is the one that started the watch-craze for me and I am really glad to have it back on my wrist / in the watch box.

Cheers, all.

James

There's no blue like Omega blue. Good work James.

That perfectly describes my feelings about this watch. It's under my skin, and I've flipped it twice. Perhaps there's another in my future.

Congrats!

Great looking piece and I'm sure it's got some nice heft on the wrist. Enjoy!

Thanks, Gents. This is definitely sticking, this time around. The aesthetic, weight and overall feel of this watch hits all the right spots, perfectly. Still have no idea what was thinking the two times before.

The Frau tried it on, likes it and asked, "We're keeping it this time around, right?". It was more of an edict, ex cathedra, than a question.

Jay, working on heading down south to the Big Apple. The Frau and I are just trying to unscrew our calendars now, but work, her MBA and the chillins are really putting the boots to any free time we have. It's looking like March of next year ... although maybe earlier.

Congrats James :) Isn't it great to have a watch that checks all the boxes.

And to paraphrase the Norsk, Omega always FTW.

Thanks, Gents. Pretty amazing and I'm still giddy over it!

I love my SeaDweller, I love my B&R, I love all of my watches ... but there's just something to be said about a SMP on the wrist.

I spent 30 minutes yesterday at a local Sbux, chatting watches with a guy who was wearing a PO and saw my SMP, so he came over and asked about it; too funny.

I know that some people say that it's an ubiquitous luxury brand, at least in comparative terms, but I sure do love Omega.

I have my second one now and hope I don't let this one go. Get the Omega double ridge rubber with deployant, it rocks.

Now that's something that I was thinking about .... Any suggestions where, without getting raped on price for OEM prices?
