Too big and too thick for my wrist but I wouldn’t worry about that anymore. For me now it’s the matter of owning a nice watch which is too large for my wrist or not having the opportunity to own and appreciate it at all.

(Pictured here with an Omega pen I got from Roar and Silje back when we traded a Doxa 1000T Pro and an Omega 2254)
I really wanted this watch since the Basel rumors. I wafted back and forth, checked it out at the AD, put in a few offers here and there over time. Constantly talked myself out of it because it was too big, but then finally decided (thanks to some enabling by a fellow DWCer) - screw it, I'm gonna live with one for awhile. Who cares if it's too big?
I LOVE IT. The only thing I dislike is that right now, my wrist falls into that Omega wasteland where the watch is too tight without the half-link and too loose with the half-link. For now, since it's such a heavy watch, I've opted for "too tight", but if it's around for even a couple months, I'll probably spring for an extra half-link and try that dance. It's been said all too often, but why couldn't Omega just add stinkin' micro adjustments (or even better, a ratcheting clasp like on the PloProf)?
For now, yes - it's a huge watch. Not comical when viewed from a distance, but the thickness is definitely laughable, and it's really quite heavy. It's less comfortable than the DSSD since I can't quite get a right fit. But the dial layout, the finishing, the 9300 movement - I really, really love this watch.

I don't have a full review yet (or planned), as I just got the watch and there have been a few reviews that are fantastic already, namely:
- Demo's here: http://thedivewatchconnection.com/forum ... =5&t=17981
and
- Ruckdee's on Purists here: http://omega.watchprosite.com/?show=for ... &ti=734608
Now, if Omega ever came out with a 40-42mm version of this watch, there is zero question I'd be on the waiting list.....
