I liked the one with the Walther PPK checkered dial, but they ruined that with the etched crystal. This one is terrible.

This is my prized possession. I agree that omega really goes overboard with the bond theme. But the seamaster and speedy are classics.

Agreed, every brand has it's dogs! I can't think of one brand that every piece in their collection is stellar but that's what makes this watch world go around, there is no reason why we should all have to like the same pieces regardless of price or what certain group say is the shit!!

And yes, Omega does indeed suck (with the exception of the Speedy Pro).

The Ploprof is designed specially for diving. I would wear that watch otherwise.

Caseback looked stupid at first but now that I clued in it is a bullet squeezing threw the shutter I dont mind it.

It's a case, I think...and the rifling of a barrel? Preposterous, since that isn't the component of a round that would travel through there. THis watch sucks chimp!

A lot of anti - 007 theme sentiments here. I never knew it.

I have much love for my QofS LE.

Just look at that texured dial and applied indices. Stunning! And other than the very subtle etching in the crystal there is no real overt 007 tie-ins. It could have been just another version of the Planet Ocean.

That's the one I like. I would swap out the crystal though.

You know Leo, I had completely forgotten about that one. Very discreet version. Like Shorty said, I'd swap crystals, but that dial rocks. I was commenting more on the blue bond models.

11,007? Really? They are making way too many of these things. It's not horrible IMO. Ditch the red 50 bezel and it's fairly wearable.
