Damn those are steeeeeep
quickly moving out of the comfort range of some buyers. or maybe that's the idea - to get a "new kind" of buyer?!?
Sounds like that want to move up a notch on the WIS ladder, I have no problem with that, good for Omega
but it kinda leaves behind the middle class guy with kids in private school who wants entry or even mid-level luxury watch

probably will bring up prices on the used market, too. bad for buyers but good for sellers/flippers.

Welcome to the world of Omega Boutique...

The days of buying new Omega's at 20-25% are over... :crybaby:

Could really boost the pre-owned market....Make older PO's, Seamasters
and Speedies even harder to find...

Look at the pricing for bracelet vs rubber...that is crazy. Who in the hell would order one on rubber at that price?

I am very happy to have my old, crappy versions ....thank you very much!

WOW. I echo John and Mark's comments-glad I have what I have. It will be interesting to see this play out-especially the PO vs Rollie sub.

Pre-owned PO's, etc are going to go through the roof.... :crybaby:

May re-think selling my Omega....
======================================

If Omega truly puts an in-house in the PO and charges $6500 USD
how is that different than Breitling charging 7K for the B01?

I am not saying that either is Rolex but the new Sub C's are 7K+

Just saying...

Boutiques, higher prices...rolex range. No suprise that they upscaled.

And no suprise, considering the 8500 Ploprof came out at 9k (I am sure that there has been a price increase since then).

I am glad that I grabbed all the omegas when I wanted them used...and may have to grab an orange po now...

But I gotta say, the new pieces are nice....and LM rocks...

But some non WISs will be debating the POs vs the Sub Cs...and may feel the POs are a "buy"

I'm not spending that kind of coin on an Omega, when there are so many other options out there in that range. With these new prices I gotta go with Heather and say "FOMEGA".
