Omega release another yet another Speedmaster

Post by snootydog » Sat Oct 05, 2024 3:19 am

Not seen this mentioned here but forgive me if I missed it.
This new one was released on the 3rd of October, which is the date a Speedmaster first went into space. This new one is an up to date copy of the FOiS and very nice it is too although I'm not keen on faux vintage lume.

Very cool but pricey.

I love the dial color and the FIOS case, but wish they used regular Speedy Pro hands. I think normal lume would be nice too.

Alas, they didn’t ask my opinion….again!

The “Alpha” hands are correct for a reproduction of a 2998 Speedy like the one Wally Schirra wore into space on his 1962 Mercury mission.
