New Project

Post by demer03 » Tue Sep 03, 2024 4:10 pm

I’ve always kicked myself for not grabbing Wu’s. Omega Seamaster Ploprof 166.077 from 1971. Just serviced. Will need a bezel insert, but I am stoked.

An old dirty bastard, as Ben might say.

Be listing a couple of the DOXA’s from the box or a speedy 125 if anyone’s interested

Yep… looks like you pulled it out of a POW’s ass… perfect for you Moke.

Really though I think that’s a cool one. Nice grab… or pull

Ben didn’t mean to insult prisoners of war, he was referring to Pretend, Obese Women (aka: fat trannies)

I love ploprofs. I miss the vintage ones. They are still classic, and vintage wears very comfortable. These things are workhorses.

Well, it was a good price, but other than maybe a bezel insert, it’s going to stay as is. Keeping it as original as I can.

With all the mold/rust I hope the movement is in good shape. See if you can get the lume stabilized so it doesn’t flake off.

Already fully mechanically serviced and stabilized. Only reason I jumped.
