Didn’t know that I belonged to a fake watch forum. Now I understand that screenshot. I’ll have to go back and check which forum you are referring toJP Chestnut wrote:Cool. I guess you joined that fake watch forum to double check.richard.k.johnson02 wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2019 1:37 pm
Close but Richard is better, and I’m pretty sure that none of my Omegas are fake.

I’d start with the ones with the word “replica” in their name. In the detective business, they call that a clue.richard.k.johnson02 wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2019 12:51 amDidn’t know that I belonged to a fake watch forum. Now I understand that screenshot. Don’t own any replicas. Daily watch is a PO and on weekends I often wear a Marathon. Back when I was diving more frequently I wore a Scubapro, wore it daily for 20 years. When I need to dress up I often choose between a Connie from 1957 or a 1956 Seamaster.Ryeguy wrote:I’d start with the ones with the word “replica” in their name. That's enough. I don't think someone's Tapatalk profile is enough to hang them over. Mine shows the Rolex Forum, which I don't think I've ever visited. If I have, I'm certainly not a member.

Re: So... the new PO
Greg, thanks a lot for the look at these !
Even with the red/orange accents they are pretty cool !
These don't have the gray, and white combo either. It's the Chronograph
this time around. Not sure if you, and the guys have seen them.
It also pays tribute to the 2005 Planet Oceans with the bezel color, and
accents. Having details like a 45.5mm stainless steel case, patent pending
orange ceramic ZrO2 bezel rings, liquid ceramic, along with Super-Luminova
filled diving scales, AR coated sapphire crystals, 600m WR, gray ceramised
titanium dial with orange accents, and Super-Luminova coated hands,
and markers, Omega in-house caliber 9900 METAS Chronometer certified
movement, stainless steel bracelets, and NATO straps too.
A couple pictures...

That "orange" is really pretty shitty. It's an ugly red.
Re: So... the new PO
It’s a bad orange, but a better red than the Rolex ceramic pepsi.JP Chestnut wrote:That "orange" is really pretty shitty. It's an ugly red.

Re: So... the new PO
I gotta tell you the amount of interesting watches Omega makes nowadays is amazing. Granted a lot of them are controversial and not for everyone.
Re: So... the new PO
I honestly think they're overextending themselves with their designs and their LEs, but they've got enough "standard" models to keep people happy. Plus, as Nick said, you can actually buy them (and for a reasonable price, too).

I’m a fan of the PO line, so I’m looking forward to seeing this new one in the metal. Hoping that it’s more of a cross between oranges and red, i.e. somewhat darker than what’s in the pics.

I don’t mind the variety too much, at least unlike Rolex they are trying to offer different iterations. What I don’t understand is how they can keep the diversity without overproduction of certain models.JBZ wrote:I honestly think they're overextending themselves with their designs and their LEs, but they've got enough "standard" models to keep people happy. Regarding the orange, I think those are bad pictures (yes, I know they are official ones). There's already a Ploprof with an orange ceramic bezel... my guess is that it is the same hue of orange:

Re: So... the new PO
I've never found an issue with a watch brand having too much models of a watch... better for us customers in my opinion.
I visited the local Omega AD this weekend and saw a lot of cool stuff. Will post pictures later.
