1. The PO wil not be introduced with the caliber 8500. It will instead feature an updated version of the 2500 movement.
2. The new PO will have ceramic bezels (Liquid Metal) and the patented screw and pin system in the bracelet.
3. The PO will be made in a version with blue dial and bezel in addition to the already excisting coulours.
4. The retail price on the new PO should be araound the same as the liquidmetal limited edition.
5. The SMP bond wil loose the wave-pattern on the dial and get the updated 2500 movement as well.
A ceramic bezel blue PO would be sweet

Damn straight that'd be sweet, but not at the LM price.

My bigger question is why they aren't introducing the 8500 in the new lineup of POs?

If Omega is going to play with the big(ger) boys in price tags, they need to up the ante on what they are actually offering. Slapping a ceramic bezel on the existing PO and tweaking (whatever they are doing to it) the 2500 does not, in my mind, justify a $2K increase.
I wonder if the new ceramic bezels will fit the older POs (like mine)?

Now that might put a smile on my face, if only for a little while.
