OK, I think I have my seasons right this time...

https://www.watchbuys.com/store/pc/Sinn ... s-c145.htm

A little small at 38.5mm, but I like it:

Available with an acrylic or sapphire crystal.

This is pretty cool too:

Anthracite dial, limited to 500 pcs.

No mention of the movements in these watches, but I assume a Sellita base.

At 40mm I might be a buyer. At 42mm for sure. But 38.5mm is a non-starter for me as well.

About the same size as the Hamilton Khaki Chrono.

I’ve got a skinny 7-ish inch wrist and the Hamilton wears OK (IMO). I wouldn’t write off this Sinn just because of the dimensions.

Conveniently, very few if any pics from the side.

New Sinn’s being released 9/1 ?

Post by BBK357 » Fri Sep 01, 2023 6:04 am

I actually like these. My only problem is the $500 up charge from acrylic to sapphire for what seems to be the exact same Watch… and they all have the same stock photo.
Wouldn’t you think they would have a side shot of what the crystals look like?
As someone who has had 103’s in acrylic and sapphire, they look very different. Also had slightly different cases.

Lol… if a sapphire Crystal cost a consumer $100, how much do they cost Sinn in bulk? They seem to be making quite a bit for a crystal swap.

The ones I’ve seen are very much inside the box. It’s a very nice box, though. Maybe a little small.

That is beautiful, but also a bit small at 39mm. The watch industry seems to have over-rotated on watch sizes and now everything is on the small side.

Or better yet — Chris, make a U1000P!

(Though the U1000 already has a lot of “P features”)

I’m pretty sure Sinn wouldn’t let me P on any of the EZM series.

You underestimate the appeal and influence of the Shortell P-ness.

I'm not normally a two-tone guy but that is a good looking watch.

While these are nice, I was hoping for a T51 ?
Basically, a larger T50.
44mm x 50mm x 12.5mm U1 series/style case with T1/T50 style bezel and thin case back.
One can only dream

39 diameter x 13.3 tall with 20mm lugs….could work nicely on a nato or Perlon. Damn nice.

Doesnt the 38.5 mm size make the chronograph that much harder to read? It doesnt seem that practical. I m not quite there on having to use reading glasses regularly but I cant imagine trying to time something with this sucker.
