Interesting enough I see nothing about what movement it uses.

I think a Damascus case looks good, but maybe a solid dial. Now the whole watch just looks like a topo map.

I bet you’re right. But i think it’s pretty sad that the movement is not listed for a $9,000 watch.

I wonder what they use to apply the markers to the dial? Some kind of badass 3m tape?

I thought it looked like there were little holes drilled in, so the applied markers probably have pins to locate. That said, there are many other options in that price level, all of which I would take before this.

Hey Sinn…. Where is a 3 hand version of the EZM 1.1?

They’ve had time to do a bunch of releases, with limited appeal in my opinion. Give us an EZM 3.1 using the same size case as the 1.1, but make it about 11 mm thick. Keep the dome crystal from the 1.1. Use a top end movement and saw that sucker to us for three grand. It would be buyers for miles.

I'd disagree. I usually wear 40-42 with a bezel and they feel right. I've tried on the 40mm Damasko's that are all dial and they look tiny on me. I have a 42mm Nomos that's all dial and it's fantastic.

I didn’t notice that, but that would make sense.
Hand applied dials remind me of radium girls.

I don't know the answer, but there's a (probably incomplete) list of watches using the movement here:

https://watchbase.com/sellita/caliber/sw300-1.

It looks like the most expensive one on the list is the Chopard Happy Sport 36 at 8200 Euros, but most are significantly less (2000-3000 Euros)

SW300 is the Sellita version of the ETA 2892. Lots of expensive watches have used 2892's. Brands like IWC, Paneria, Hublot and Lange & Sohn use this movement, although many of them modify it or add a chrono module. Sinn's approach has always been a little different. Fairly simple movements with a lot of technology around the movement.

I thought this article referenced them using a 2892 base and then adding a chrono module, etc... but I may have misunderstood the statement.

^^^ I saw that too - I think it was more a “what if” situation between a modded ETA vs an in-house movement. I really just skimmed it, but may have misunderstood as well.
