It’s not the fact it’s black in black one in itself but the fact that both dial and bezel are both black.

Interestingly, the size difference is similar to the variations below.... and in the case of Rolex and Omega, the smaller version is vastly more popular. Only in the Sinn tool watch world is 41mm considered dainty.

Even with the slight bump in price the U50 will become Sinn’s number one U series seller.

A bezel insert that is the same color as the dial of the watch will make the watch look bigger.
