That's the money shot... or on the bracelet.

Shitty iPhone Lume shot. Interesting to note the fully lumed index but lack of lumed second hand. Lume is far superior to the U1 but a little short of Omega/Seiko.

Great watch is right. Baton-dial 556s kick ass all over the place. Other than the pointless display back (would be nice to have a solid steel option) I wouldn't change a thing about it.

It definitely doesn't need to be any larger, either. My 856 is a bit of a pancake and the goofy date window at the 4 o'clock position is a constant reminder of how large the case is compared to its weaker 2893 movement. The proportions are off compared to the 556, much like the 36 mm vs. 39 mm Explorer.

Anyway, nice choice. It's easily one of my favourite Sinn models and it's distinctive in an understated way. Just a good-looking, simple, high-quality, reliable watch without any gimmicks. And they look incredible on the wrist.

The Sinn looks great all by itself but you put a Drews canvas on it and it takes it to a new level. Just about every watch is better on a Drew strap in my estimation. I was thinking about peddling my Armida A5 until I put the canvas on it.

Wow. I LIKE this model. Clean and simple.
