Afternoon fellow Horologists,
I want to pull the trigger on a Sinn EZM 3 when they get back in stock. I was wondering about the future service costs of this model. If it has the moister capsule built-in to the case, then this should give it a long(er) service intervals. Right? They claim that moister inside the case can cause problems with the ETA movement. This is true but the capsule will make that problem moot.
Advice BEFORE I buy will be great.
Thanks!

Re: EZM 3 service
If you want to know potential service costs contact Watchbuys or if in Europe call Sinn… They should be able to give you an idea on service costs. Good luck.

I think you’ll go a long time without needing a service.
Here’s the latest price sheet but I’m sure it’ll be outdated when a brand new EZM3 needs a service:

Re: EZM 3 service
FWIW I bought my EZM3 brand new in 2014 or 2015 and I haven’t serviced it yet. It still runs great and the capsule is still whitish.
Re: EZM 3 service
Thanks all. I figured as much. It shouldn't need servicing for a long time.

3F is the spiritual cousin to the EZM1.BBK357 wrote:You gunning for a 3 or a 3F?motojl12 wrote:Thanks all. I figured as much. It shouldn't need servicing for a long time.
