Aftermarket curved end rubber/silicone strap options for Sinn U1?
Greetings all -
Guys I've been looking for a non OEM rubber/silicon option with curved ends for the Sinn U1.
I have scoured the internet for the options but haven't really hit anything. In fact that's how I got a link to this forum here and then promptly registered.
I wish to put it on my Kemmner Octopus as the original Sinn rubber is a perfect fit on this one. I am not really keen on the wearing the rubber on a deployant so looking for an alternative with a buckle. Lots of options with the straight end but I prefer the closed and covered look of a curved end strap.
Does anyone know if the curved end crafter blue straps for any of the Seiko's is a good fit on the Sinn U1?
Thanks all in advance!

Welcome to DWC!
No idea if the crafter blue will work, but the strap itself is awesome and worth the $$, imo.
Good luck!

Just use an IsoFrane or a toxicnatos magnum rubber strap.

People have used the Elliot Brown rubber straps on Sinn U-series watches. Looks like a good match in pics although I have no personal experience.

I used the Sinn rubber strap on a JSAR and also a Seiko SKX bracelet on a JSAR so I assume that if you find something made for the Seiko SKX it could work on the Sinn. It's a stretch but it's possible...

I’ve been thinking the same thing.
This Uncle Seiko custom SKX just might be perfect.

Thanks for the welcome mate!
I guess ISO was always the last choice if I didn't reach anywhere.
You sir have probably mentioned something that may lead to the culmination of this seemingly endless journey that I was on. Did some research and this surely looks like the one that will fit. Will give this one a go in the post virus world.
Hence the question here if the crafter would fit - The thing is I don't want to order something and then hit a roadblock - but thanks for chiming in.
That's a nice strap - but again would need some confirmation before I order it - Cheers.spring-diver wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 12:08 pmI’ve been thinking the same thing.
