Excellent Comparison Of the 300 And 300T

Post by mattcantwin » Mon Oct 05, 2020 11:40 am

Just read one of the best comparisons I've seen of the two divers; well written with great pictures.

That is well done - and a good reference.

I still prefer the 300 over the 300T.

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had

I feel the same about my Searambler, but prefer the 300T for the Pro.

I think you should get the 300T - Professional, of course - then trade me for my 1200T, which is arguably a better watch.

You’re welcome!

All kidding aside, both the 300 and T look great. I’d have to go with the T ‘cause I like a bit thicker watch for diving..

I really like the 300 with the smaller dial and raised crystal. Just need to decide if I want a searambler or a professional.

Totally different watches on the wrist (I have a 1200T, which is almost the same watch as the 300T) and a 300. The 300 is more versatile, and feels very vintage on the wrist. The 1200T feels much more modern, and sits higher on the wrist.

The WUS member who wrote this comparison, GmtMasterIII, has a pretty sweet four watch collection.
