A HUGE thank you to Mike the Doxa Whore for offering up a couple of rarely seen NOS Doxa.
These were produced in the early 80's after Aubrey purchased Doxa/Synchron this one still has/had the sticker on the crystal and not a mark on it.

39mm wide x 47mm lug to lug w/ 20mm bracelet (also untouched) and 14mm tall - chunky but definitely not "hamburger" tall like some of my beloved Sinn watches.

At the 6:00 marker (shark tooth or homeplate??) has the T Swiss Made T

This watch is powered by the automatic DOXA caliber 5910 17 jewel movement, which is an ETA 2783 at 28800 bph, with a power reserve of 44 hours and has a quickset date.

Unique without be freakish, Different without screaming Look at me - In short, this whole thing just works for me.

It’s a pretty wide bezel and I like the way the 2 scales (timing and deco) break up the wideness and make it visually interesting and not so overpowering.

And yeah the lines are also visually interesting - there’s a lot going on with angles and lines and brushed and polished areas but all the elements work well together!

Comfortable bracelet and balanced watch make it super comfortable to wear!
