After missing out

Post by demer03 » Thu May 16, 2019 10:41 am

Dragged my feet on the last two deals here, so I grabbed this one.

Worn around the house a few times and the original owner just didn't bond. Not a mark on it.

I like it, but not sure I follow all the dial logo stuff on Doxas.

I kinda wanted the yellow dial.

These are simply a re-issue of the first US series. Cousteau and US Divers sold the 300 series with the logo. It's nostalgia, that's all.

Did those dive accessory companies sell the watches and that’s why the logos?

Nice pickup Mike. A real beauty! I've tried the other two Aqualung re-issues but have yet to try this one. Not sure why they don't stick because they're well made and awesome pieces.

Bingo. Cousteau was involved in US Divers and got Doxa to develop the SUB line.

Looks great. I like the logo, and would love an original 300T Pro Aqualung.Image

Mike, you got me hooked on the US Divers versions, but that Synchron era watch is very nice too.

The second batch may be sold out. But there’s always plenty of resale going on.
