Well at least this post brought out the children in your ranks. This is not really a watch forum is it?

This is way more than a watch forum. People's names have pictures to it. Many members have stayed at other member's homes. G2G's are a common thing. Member's know each other's careers, place(s) of residence, family, etc. I think you are correct DownSouth. This isn't a watch forum...it's the virtual pub of watch forums.

Yup, we got mouth-breathers and nose-pickers, and we love and beat them all equally. This is a family.

If you stay on this forum, if you survive your initiation, you will be a weapon. You will be a minister of death praying for war. But until that day you are pukes. You are the lowest form of life on Earth. You are not even human, f*&king beings. WAIT...let's start again.

To join this family, you must prove your bloodline. That you are Sicilian. You must swear an omerta; an oath of silence. You will be brought into the basement of the IWC works, and handed a Rolex Warranty card. We will prick your finger and spread the blood on the warranty card, then set it ablaze. The member who sponsors you will say "If you betray DWC, your flesh will burn like this saint."

WAIT...ok. here's the thing. This forum is an Adult Zone. If you post it, you own it, and everything that comes with it.

Don't whine. Don't cry. Don't bitch. Don't post anything you're not prepared to back up, or be called out on. If you are called out, man the f*$k up, carry your butt to The Cage, and take it like a man.

If those rules and the rest of these "children" are more than you can stomach, then please stop by the gift shop on your way out and get your "I'm not man enough for the interwebz." tee shirt, along with a roadmap to a kindlier & gentler watch forum. No harm. No foul.

BUT if you stay...well, you'll get out of this place what you put in.*

My 1200 Pro is so sexy I don't even know what to do sometimes. And yes, chicks and old dudes and even children dig the orange. Is it for everyone? Are waffles for everyone? Wait, that makes no friggin' sense...you know what I mean though. If you've dropped a set and can walk around with an orange watch on your wrist and explain to everyone who asks that a fictional dude named Dirk wears one and they should just shut their calorie hole and read a Cussler book and stop bothering you...then you can belong to the club.

I also own and proudly wear my #9 Roy Hobbs New York Knights home jersey. If some dope asks what team the Knights are, I ask them if they've ever heard of Bernard Malamud. If I get the slack-jawed 1,000yd stare, I don't even bother moving forward with the conversation. NO EXPLANATION FOR YOU!!! :smack:

I really should'nt break my pills in half...
