Why should they? The "Swiss Made" rules are specifically designed to support this kind of loose interpretation to encourage a false sense of "premium" and justification of pricing.

We can point fingers at "Swiss Made" but "Made in Japan" is hardly better. Don't they allow for foreign manufacture if the plant is managed by Japanese individuals? Again, a pretty loose definition of the "Made In" term.

They can charge any price they want. That's what Rolex does. The question is whether people will continue to pay them if they were forthcoming. I suspect it wouldn't matter to most.

I just wish these manufacturers would be more transparent. We know most of them use far east manufacturing. I always have these backed up in case Doxa plays its silly games. These are over 10 years old as well.
