Went way outside my comfort zone.
Went way outside my comfort zone.
So over the last 12-18 months I've been trying to get my AD to sell me a gold Daytona on Oysterflex. They acted like it was something they could make happen, but it never did. So I finally reached out to another AD and .. SAME DAY they offered me the watch, but I called back 5 min later and it was sold. Kinda a kick in the nuts on both fronts. I don't feel like that watch is that much of a demand, and I was in the buying mood sooooo I went out and bought this. 42mm Yellow Gold Yacht-Master ... I tell ya what I think I might just like it better. Never had or even really considered YMs before, but damn this thing is great on the wrist.

Very nice. Congratulations.

Congrats man! Great looking watch.
FWIW, I wore a ceramic sub on a rubber B strap with a glide lock clasp, and it was a really nice combination. I’ve thought about getting another sub and selling a few of my other pieces.

Outstanding!
back in the day I owned an older steel bezel Daytona and a blue dial Yacht Master and, for me, the YM wore so much better

I love it! I’m not usually a YG fan but that works so well with all the matte black elements. Congrats.

Congratulation! No doubt the yellow gold pops more than the rose gold; and that black bezel! Looks stunning!
