It remains one of my favorites; an all-weather friend, if you will:

I like your real life pics better Adam! Really think i could cut my collection down by a bunch if i had this amazing watch! The 16613 was a gift and almost impossible to cut loose, my mentor & business partner would kill me, or would he....

I'm proud to say that I took one of AC's favorite pics of his watch.
...with my trusty point and shoot S90 no less.

It's a bad ass watch for sure. I'll likely never pony up the cash for it though.

Awesome piece of metal. Had it, sold it. Wish I could get it again. My wife's favorite of mine so far.

That's obviously not Adam's. Normally he crops the watermark out of the picture :naughty:

im still trying to decide if those tudors are real and might make a trip back to his shop and try not to get booted out again, been doing alot of research and the one with the leather strap will give me some numbers i can look up plus ive found that the 390 17 jewel movement in the earlier models would wind a bit different than the ETA auto! But hell yeah in a perfect world i would be rockin the DSSD! :headbang:

I like the picture he tried to forge as a snowboarding shot. The reality is Mrs. Craniotes told him to get his ass outside and shovel the walk!

Oh wait that was a JLC shot...what ever, you get my drift.

Yeah, I came at you.

Thanks Adam.

I go back and forth on the DSSD.
It's an awesome watch, without a doubt. However, the height is just damn outrageous and I woud prefer if it didn't have the text on the chapter ring; I get that the text isn't that big of a deal on the wrist, but still, I wish it wasn't there.

That's why it would be hard for me to part with the cash to get one.

Then the other side of me says its a marvel of engineering and one of the baddest watches ever made and wants to get one sooooo bad.

Damn this hobby and indecision.
