This about sums up my situation as well....and 42mm max would be my vote. This might be a lame suggestion, but what about simply picking a custom dial and hands for one of Noah's new watches? And maybe a cool finish of some kind....like the Bob Thayer teflon?polaco23 wrote:

I too would strongly consider participating...price and style would be a major consideration.

Hey Guys. I'm new here , and can see this effort already has some momentum as a 42mm case.ChesterDogg wrote: I would definitely be in, but the case will have to be a minimum of 44mm before I would consider buying. If we can get the case bigger, I wouod be all over this like white on rice. If this ends up being 42mm, I wish all of you good luck and wear it in good health.
However I have to agree with this poster. I have a huge wrist and without 44mm minimum, I would just be a spectator here, not really interested in buying. Is a two size run out of the question?

I can attest to Bloozy's "huge wrist". I took three links out of the new/old U1 today.
Also, I'd like to comment that the 42mm -vs- 44mm decision doesn't mean a whole lot to me. It is the lug-2-lug dimension that actually makes a difference on my wrist. This 44mm U1 doesn't look all that big with only a 50-51mm lug-2-lug measurement.
