TD3 which is the “bulletproof” diesel. The TD5 has had a lot more issues over the years.

Expedition Outfitted Land Rover Defender 110 built by the famous Foley Land Rover of England. It was put together for a South African safari in 2015 and before that did a charity expedition from London to Cape Town.

170,000 kilometres on the indestructible 300Tdi engine. New Cooper tires, custom Brownchurch roof rack and ladder, diamond plate steel protective plating, undercoated galvanized chassis, right hand drive

Heavy duty internal and external roll cage

Long range fuel tank

Heavy duty double suspension

Built in 60 litre fresh water tank with external tap

Dual auxiliary battery and charging system

120w GoPower Solar power system

Hasp locks on all doors

Locking side storage system

Under floor locking safes

Folding steel table attached to rear door

Not spotted but after getting rear window logo'd up with company, I thought it needed debadging for a cleaner look

Did it start life in the military? I thought the radio box on the side was a mil spec option?

Did it start life in the military? I thought the radio box on the side was a mil spec option?
It may have but I don’t see any signs of OD Green or black paint under the blue...It also has gun safes in the floors of the cab.

That looks amazing Dave. A little paint definitely gives that a sharp look. Good job! That trunk is a nice touch too.

My new Dodge Ram got “pin striped” shortly after I bought it last year. Took it up a 4x4 trail that was about 2ft too narrow. Lol.
