Dodge announced today that their Challenger Drag Pak, a limited edition race-ready model, gets the big V10 from the SRT10 demonstrator for 2011.
Only 70 will be built and I am not buying one...but not because of the sticker price, and I am not saving for a Rollie.
This is the trunk, and THAT is the gas tank (or in race lingo, fuel cell).
You're not getting far with a 500+ ci engine on that amount of fuel. Plus those mountings will scratch my Gucci luggage.
The two speed auto tranny is not very streetable. White is the only color...the graphics are optional.
Oh yeah, and did I mention it lacks a VIN...it is not street legal.
However the street legal SRT8 is getting the bigger 6.4L HEMI and 480HP to stay in competition (or at least try to) with the Mustang Shelby GT500.
It will also probably get better MPG than my 6.1L HEMI.
