You are quoting a post from over 11 years ago? :raised:
As his/her first post here??? Weird that someone would make an account on a watch forum to post about the color of someone's car from 11 years ago... to each their own....
I think they're testing AI or some sort of automated hacking techniques.

Crazy, 2 years ago we sold my wife's Saab. A few months ago we had the opportunity to repurchase it. We passed on it. It looks like the current owner (I saw it at a local gas station) is taking great care of it. :crybaby:
Yikes! My wife loves Saabs as well, almost bought her a pristine 9-3 Convertible on BAT a few months ago...
Will say, I did love my 9-3.

Nice! How do you like it so far?

Looks like there's a vintage Acura in the background.

Totally didn’t notice the Acura.

So far she’s been great. Carb needs a little tuning for my altitude. Just turned the idle up a bit until I can re-jet.

Yup! I’ve already been either photo’d or video’d about 5-6 times in the few short drives. Those are the ones I actually saw doing it. Lol. That’s cool though. It’s fun to see people’s expressions as I’m riding this go-kart down the highway Image

I can get out on the water year round. It's chilly from Nov-March but with an enclosed cabin and diesel heater, fishing for Winter Chinook is comfy.

^^^^ Nice ride!!!!

What size engine did you get?

It’s an all aluminum hull, correct? I guess you need to have sacrificial zincs on the hull as well as the motor.

FWIW, I love having an enclosed cabin like you’ve got. The only thing I’d add (if you haven’t got it already) are some deck lights mounted on your roof. It’s getting darker earlier this time of year and I’m a fan of visibility (both to see and be seen).

As a word of warning, you should practice docking with all your canvas and windows installed. With a light weight hull, that enclosed cabin will act like a sail and you’ll get blown about pretty easily.

The boat has a Merc 115hp 2 stroke SaltWater and a Merc 9.9hp 4 stroke kicker (linked steering). Its all aluminum, so lots of anodes on the hull and main motor.

I have a boat launch 45 secs from my house, so I can trailer it in to water without much effort. I also have a buoy that I can use, in the same Bay.

Good idea on the overhead lights. I'll mount LED's on the hardtop. I will also add a rack for my paddle boards.

Just don’t run with the LED’s on. They really negatively affect our night vision and blind us making it harder for us to see other poorly lit or unlit vessels.
