And after I moved several of my nicer pieces, I got a new Kuat rack and carbon Trek bike, so it’s being used a lot more. This will be my last big purchase for a while, until the wife gets back to work...

Our daughter Jade is taking over my 2012 CRV, which has been a great vehicle for us as a family. I picked up a BMW M40i last week and am super super happy with it. So fast.
I’m really excited and love driving it.
We’re taking it to our FL vaca Saturday.

Spent 4k on the Jeep and trying to decide whether to keep or sell it. We have four cars with my wife’s CX-5(awesome car btw) and next year Raven will need a car too so she’ll take over the CX-5 and wifey will get a new car Image 5 freaking cars smh Image I’m expanding the driveway Image

rockmastermike wrote:I'm in transition mode as my Camry will be adopted by my youngest in a couple of months which will take him through high school and college if he keeps up on maintenance. (My oldest adopted or Honda Pilot and mom replaced it with her Highlander.)

Which means dad is in the market again and soon will be back to my 1hr to work and 1hr back home commute. Nothing fancy, just decent mileage and comfortable for at least 2 hours a day.

Test drove Santa Fe, Sorento, Outback, CR-V, Rav-4, etc...that range/segment and will tackle sedans next to see what is available in my price range.

Also have to budget adding to my drive way for a 3rd vehicle, and Spring Break mini vacation....kids suck, lol.....I kid, of course.

Wish me luck
As Chris suggested, I’d recommend the Mazda CX-5. My wife has one and absolutely loves it. It’s been super reliable and affordable to maintain. It’s drives well with sporty dynamics. The interior is nice and has much improved since hers. She wants another one when she gère a new car, the new 250hp turbo model that’s much faster. The new interior is really well done and it’s an overall impressive package at that price point vs competitors. Less boring. It always gets great reviews.

Not like in Northern Florida. We have to air way down. One of our ATVs is a better choice if I need to be on the beach in a hurry.

The drive home was essentially my "test drive" with the car. A car that big/heavy should not be that much fun to drive on the highway. I am really digging the live cam mirror so far. I will see what things annoy me in a month or so of driving it, but so far, this is worth the upgrade over the 2 door Evoque.

After a month of ownership, I’m in love ImageImage
Not the fastest SUV, but plenty fast (0-60 4.6sec) and fun to drive. I really enjoy driving it and coming from a CRV, it’s a big change Image

New his & hers rides!!!!! 2021 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition and Tundra TRD Pro. We’ve had the LC for a month or so and we just picked up my Tundra yesterday. I’m overjoyed.
