Watched Terminator: Dark Fate. It was okay I guess. It's always good to see Ah-nold, and it was also nice to see Linda Hamilton back in her iconic role. But there wasn't exactly a lot that was new and different.

Finally got around to watching Warrior. I liked it right up until the ending, which I thought was rushed. But definitely worth watching.

Re-watched The Big Short, Margin Call (which is outstanding - you really, really should watch it), and American Pyscho. Guess I'm in a "finance folks do morally ambiguous/evil stuff" frame of mind.

The first few episodes annoyed me. Watching them resort to huge diesel generators to power their electric motorcycles was mind numbing.

The Outpost was pretty good. If any of you have read the book of the same name or Red Platoon (written by the actual Medal of Honor recipient and very highly recommended), it’s well worth a watch.
Just watched this. Very good.

watched The Outpost last week, thanks for the rec, it was great.
saw My Octopus Teacher this evening with the wife. Beautiful cinematography and music. Story gets a bit cheesy and narrator is a wee bit self absorbed, but it's definitely worth the time.

We watched Rebecca (Netflix) over the weekend and thought it was good. Ratings thought otherwise...

I thought so too.

It gets better IMO. the scenery is stunning and it's well filmed. Still they are travelling with an entourage... As always

Just finished it. Pretty good story. Slow start but the wife and I both enjoyed it. Your mileage may vary.

Watched this crazy French movie called Deerskin the other day. This is the description

“A man's obsession with his designer deerskin jacket causes him to blow his life savings and turn to crime”

Fucking weird.

The 12th Man is excellent.
“After a failed anti-Nazi sabotage mission leaves his 11 comrades dead, Norwegian resistance fighter Jan Baalsrud finds himself fleeing from the Gestapo through the snowbound reaches of Scandinavia.”

Now on season 2 of Netflix Frontier. Pretty good, apart from the random, idiotic quotes at the start of each episode.
