I went to my first auto x race last Saturday. It was a blast. I did things with my Porsche that you really only see in movies. I have a friend that has done this for years as a racer and instructor who is teaching me. We got killed because we are on my winter radial tires, and were the only people there not on race tires. I don't really care as I only compete against myself.

Awesome! I'm gonna get down to VIR one of these days and do some laps. Looks like a blast!

Derek, VIR is a blast. I've done it once on my TL and once in the allroad. People give you funny looks when they see that big azz wagon hauling tail around the track LOL.

That 944 is a perfect track car. Glad you enjoyed yourself.
