saw a killer show last week in Annapolis, Lachy Doley

Funk/blues organist out of Sydney, Australia. been a fan of his for a few years after finding this song in youtube while looking for something else. he built a whammy bar into his clavinet and he plays some incredible stuff with it, along with his vintage hammond organ playing thru a vintage 70s leslie cabinet. rhythm section is tight as hell, too. can't recommend catching one of his shows enough if you like this style of music. they put on a helluva show and just a genuinely nice guy to chat with after the show. hoping to catch him again when i'm in sydney for work in september. turns out he has a regular gig on mondays with the house band a couple of blocks from our sydney office.
