Car Spotting
Re: Car Spotting
I saw my first Rivian R1T in the flesh yesterday (Lame I know, but we can't all post bada$$ pit pics from a race :p), and I totally did not hate it like I expected to. If they make them compatible with Tesla chargers it would be an awesome rig! I'm all-in on EVs (for a commuter, not as a fun car!), but very interested to see if the charging infrastructure standardizes in the US.

Seen at rallye I participated in last Saturday.

Re: Car Spotting
Today I bring you about as rare and exclusive a car that’s available in the world. The only two that exist. The Panoz Esperante GTR – one. Unfortunately, I only got two sit in it, and not drive it. But they’re amazing. And finish far exceeds anything that a tiny little car manufacturer should be able to put out.

Just an update on this - our SUV was delivered yesterday. It's a beast - tbh I need someone to design a power running board setup so I can get into the car without struggling :D.blkgsl wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 6:54 pmThey’re being delivered to non-employees now, and an order today is expected to be delivered early 2024. We have the suv on order, and I expect it end of this year / early 2023.CGSshorty wrote:First Rivian I’ve spotted on the road. I didn’t even realize you could buy one yet.
The one pictured is likely a test truck, with Michigan manufacturer plates (I am guessing).

2023 Porsche 718 CR GT4. If you ever think your car is special, here’s several million dollars worth of Porsche race, cars sitting in the back of the warehouse waiting to be picked up surrounded by pallets of toilet paper and tampons.

A very long time ago, I used to own a Dodge Daytona, so I kinda owned a little piece of a Consulier.

All they did was take the transaxle and move it to the rear.

We have a local company who imports a lot of cars from Japan. Here is one of them. It is crazy small. Maybe half the size of my Saab wagon. Check out how small it is behind this Saturn. lol

That stupid “TURBO” decal on the side was a cop magnet.

My mother had a red Daytona Charger. I believe it was Shelby Z. All red. It was cool as hell in the 80's. I didn't get the GLHS until the late 90's.Ryeguy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 5:34 pmMine looked exactly like this:toxicavenger wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 4:37 pmI owed a GLHS for while. What a beauty. Looks like a 58, I think. The dual headlights were much better than the single lens.
