Bought this about 2 months ago after trading in my sorely-missed base 911 that I needed to let go of due to the market and the fact that it was no longer under warranty. Loving it so far.

Lovely 08 R32 Golf, very pampered & stock other than the rims. He's going to leave it stock as these are getting scarce and sort after.

Addendum - My wife's C300 Merc that was trashed mid last year was replaced with a brand new Merc 300, with AMG accents. A much better car than the previous that was destroyed. Funny how things work out...
We only got the 2 door version here. I’d still have mine if it was a 4 door.

And don't they go like the stink. My son has replaced the exhaust (we still have the stock exhaust, if the gets defected by the Police).

Such a fun car to drive, the acceleration reminds me of the 996, which has been sitting at a Porsche mechanic here in Sydney for the past 2 months waiting for the motor to come out & fix the issue were having (believe it is a drive chain tensioner that has failed). the wait is a result of their own success, they can't get the engine into their motor room for at least 3 months due to the back log of work...
Strength is = 2 or > than "tipping over a so- called smart car plastered in “Coexist” bumper stickers".

Getting a bit tired of paying so much for gas and lately for my use my truck has been a bit unnecessary, so I bought myself a new toy today. I've always liked the GTI. We went to the VW dealer to put in an order for the ID.4 for my wife and I ended up leaving with this.

Congrats - we’ve got a 2022 Dark Iron Blue one. It’s a hoot to drive and “can” get good gas mileage.

Yeah I've got to work on that. So far it's been traction control off, sport mode, and run through the gears with the paddles. 😂

I had my dealer install a APR Stage 1+ tune. Adds a nice snap of +30hp and everything is still covered under warranty. It was a little spendy, but gets me through until the warranty expires. I’ll probably go Stage III and put a tune on the DSG after that.

I had an MK7 for a few years and almost always had sports mode on unless I was just cruising on the highway. Sports mode actually was better in traffic, less hunting for gears and more engine breaking.

I miss that car. Congrats.

Got rid of the 911 a decade ago, got into Toyotas, owned (3) 4Runners and an old Land Cruiser, and am on my 2nd (and hopefully final) Tacoma.

So I had a 2018 M3, which I liked very much, and would be happy to share my thoughts. Bottom line: do it.

Yeah, that's what most people say. Haven't driven one yet because I expect I'll fall in love, especially if I actually fit (6' 4").

I have an E46 M3 (Vert) and right now I need the extra room when I'm hauling the dog, the kid, groceries. etc. Hoping prices drop on these a bit over the next few years, which is when I'll be in the market.
