Been enjoying episodes of Altered Carbon on Netflix. Kind of feels like the Punisher dropped into Blade Runner.

Also finished the Punisher series (which was great).

Just got back from watching Black Panther with my girls. We all enjoyed it immensely.

Never really been a fan of Oldman. His "Darkest Hour" performance changed that. Just a prodigious work of art.

These are all TV series, not movies.

Altered Carbon (Netflix): Very good. Blade Runner-Esque
McMafia (AMC Premium): Really good. Kinda Billionaire (without comedy), meets Godfather 2, Quietly intense and engaging.
Seven Seconds (Netflix): Some great acting but rather predictable.
Star Trek Discovery (CBS All Access): Excellent, if you can find a way to watch it for free
Hard Sun (Hulu-BBC One): Gangbusters outta the gate, from the makers of Luther, Sci-Fi (understated), Crime, Drama - Very Good.
Frankenstein Chronicles (Netflix): Quite the twist on the old classic. Well done. Much like Taboo (dirty people covered in mud and shit)

Average fight scenes. Good looking women. Cheesy sci-fi. Good message.

Also last night watched 2307: Winters Dream on Netflix ( damn 3 movies less than 24 hours). Poor acting but interesting sci-fi flick.

SALYUT * 7; Russian flick about the true story of the Soviet 'Apollo 13'. Interesting, re. the difference in the execution of technology / engineering / science. This really came to mind at the end of the flick when it showed our Space Shuttle next to the Soviet's space station. Oh, and they smoke, and have a drink (Vodka) in the Space Station. ...
