I got the entry door painted today. The insulated doors and the spray foam we did last fall should help keep the temps more stable in there. We have a portable swamp cooler for when it gets really hot and there’s a 100+ year old coal/wood stove for when it’s colder. I have a few more projects inside the shop, but they can wait.
Thanks. Hoping the reflectivity of the white vs green, and the insulation really help stabilize the temperature inside. The windows add a lot. The shop is only 900 sq ft and only had one small window inside before, so those windows in the door really brighten it up.Captdave wrote:Looks greatBacoNoir wrote:We finished with the updates to our on-site soap and candle shop today. I can totally relate. At 62, I don’t bounce like I used to.gwells wrote:Looking good, Roger.
And feeling “twinsies” today.
Plus an ice pack on my knee cuz I banged the inside of my knee where the patella and tibia meet on the edge of the toilet while I was putting the tank back on after replacing the guts. Felt like I found the funny bone on the knee joint. 20 yr old me would have hopped around for a minute cursing and laughed it off. 61yr old me is still limping 30m later and icing to hopefully not be limping for a week. Fucking toilet.
