Love that blue one Tom, very nice but I'm not sure it's £6800 or just under $9000 nice.

Looks good but they are out of their mind with that pricing.

This is why WatchBuys stopped selling Fortis. Their pricing strategy is not realistic.

LMAO…there’s not a Fortis made that I’d pay nearly 7 grand for, and this one is no different.

Someone at the company was absolutely high when they set that price.

I love the grey one, but even at 40% off it’s a non starter.

I'm sorry guys, these prices are just going nuts! There's no way to justify this cost, I really think they are pricing out the enthusiasts.

Price on this is so unfortunate. The sandwich dial is a knockout. I really like the wraparound number style on both the 1/3/5/7... ring and the 24 hours. I'm less fond of the chiclets bracelet though.

I’m still in shock at the absurd price of this watch.

Just by way of comparison, for roughly the same money one could pick up a Tudor Black Bay GMT and a Longines Spirit Zulu Time GMT.

As others have said, the pricing is absurd. It seems I'm in the minority, but I don't think it's a particularly good looking watch either.

$9K? For that money I'm looking at a Glashütte Original SeaQ, a Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso, an
IWC Portugieser Chronograph, an Omega Seamaster 300 or Speedmaster Professional, etc several of which can be had for much less than this Fortis. Absolutely crazy.

I really can say nothing really appeals to me about the watch. Then you add the price and it's a no go. :naughty:

My apologies guys, I actually didn't even look at the price. I saw the news of the watch, and
then thought it was really cool, but yes, that price is crazy for sure no doubt. ..Honestly, don't get
it, but it's at least fun letting our voices be heard.

And also, when we see a watch like this it allows for inspiration if someone like the style to go,
and find an affordable model from some other brand too. ;)

Honestly, was just fun to see, and it's always great to hear what everyone has to say. So thanks
an absolute ton to everyone !!!

I'm glad you posted this, it popped in an add but I was moving fast and forgot to check it out. I like the watch, I rather prefer James and Andrews options though.
Thanks Tom!

Hi folks, new here, I've been looking at the Fortis Vagabond and a discussion on another site was saying same, too expensive...however several folks stating over $9K USD?
THE retail is $6100... I did speak to one of only 3 usa retailers and he stated if it was not titanium or sans the 18k gold GMT RING probably be a $4500 watch.iI have a few old models from Fortis, the you tube interview with the new owner is interesting to view. Thnx dogdoc97

I’m bummed that the prices of new watches continue to go up, and second hand prices continue to fall. I don’t see Fortis as a “brand leader” and anticipate lackluster sales of this model.

I actually had a hands on with this model at the Wind-Up watch fair this past October. The fit and finish was really nice, but as others have said, for $9,000, I'm out.

Was thinking about this guys, maybe they added one too many zeros.
Although these watches are a lot of fun to see, the prices actually
cause everyone to look in other directions right? ;)

It could be in a microbrsnd direction, or inexpensive homage direction,
or even towards other well known watch brands if they want to spend
this much money. ..It’s all pretty interesting, and although I love just
seeing these new watches, I don’t get the pricing.

Have to thank everyone again for joining in and giving their thoughts !!! :)

You can buy a lovely pre worn Rolex for this price.

Ridiculous.
