Was supposed to be here Wednesday, it's now Friday and USPS has no idea where my watch is.
Damn thing is being shipped by ox and cart apparently.
I know - first world problems and I'm not the first nor the last to complain.
But still Priority Mail not being a Priority and being late is harshing my mellow, man.

Last week I got a trailer hitch shipped by FedEx. It was within 5 miles of my house on Thursday, went to Wisconsin on Friday, and finally arrived on Saturday. I find it surprising that they can’t manage a 60lb package better. And yes, the box had holes on 3 sides by the time it arrived.

My USPS driver stops each day, gets out of his truck, and gives the dogs a treat.
This is how it looks as he’s working his way down the street….

This flies in the face of everything we’ve been told about the age-old feud between dogs and mailmen.

Funny thing about usps, they suck at everything.
I have a package that was from a local company. It to “destination facility” yesterday and was “out for delivery” but somehow that meant they shipped it from my post office to Salem Oregon.
…..and to think some people want the same government employees in charge of our health care.

Hope it gets found. I had the same problem with a clock mainspring part I bought for a rare clock for a repair from Austria it landed in New Jersy and then lost for three weeks on the tracking web site you can submit a search for lost package it showed up in Kentucky the wrong way to Montana. You know the person in charge of the USPS can't be fired or replaced by a President for bad service this one was put in by another President. They even wanted to move a USPS receiving for Montana to the state of Washington they got so much flack USPS changed their mind dam that would of slowed down mail big time in Montana. Can't get better if you can't fire the one at the top of USPS.

my guy is one of a kind --- he befriends all the dogs in the neighborhood. He also recently told me he collects ex-wives..... you know, that kinda guy.

i had the same kinda mailman when i was a kid in FL. at our first house, our dog bit the mailman (mom had to pay his hospital bill and replace his uniform pants). the next house, one day we had the dog in the front yard off leash (70s, it was common) and he started going toward the mailman and she freaked out. he said, "don't worry, we're friends. i know about his history. i've been giving him treats when he was in the back yard and we're friends now."
as far as packages? they all have moments of suck. sent a UPS package to a conference once. it was three big banner stands in a huge rolling case. was shipping from Omaha to Vegas, 2 day shipping. morning of day 2, it was in the Vegas processing center. Evening of day 2, it was in Salt Lake City. day 3 it was back in omaha. it made a pit stop in some other random city on day 4, and then it made it to vegas on day 5, which was after the conference ended.

I sent Mike a couple bracelet links last Friday, from NJ to NY. Monday morning the tracking reads out for delivery. But it was out for delivery someplace in GA.. It's still bouncing around GA somewhere today. Usually they're ok, but when they suck, they really suck. I'd be sweating it more if it were a watch though. RMM I hope yours finds it's way to you soon.

I hear ya
At least you / USPS knew the links were in GA - I have no idea where the watch is and I don't think USPS knows either - still says moving through network this afternoon
Also, knowing USPS, I could just show up regardless of tracking info.....one never knows

Our USPS Post Office/mailman is terrific. Very fortunate. I have had some issues, which was out of their control. A simple call to them (not the 800 number) and they took the time to track down and get it moving again. Extremely good customer service.
All Carrie’s have “their moments” and yes, very frustrating.

USPS has a Consumer Affairs office in most large cities. I actually used them a couple times as well. Once I contacted them, things started moving again. It’s NOT a toll free number(Zip Code specific to their offices) and I know your area has an office. Just search on your browser and you should find it. If you cannot find the number, let me know.

Not much to add, beyond the fact that i have 2 packages (1lb coffee, and a tinted face shield for a motorcycle helmet, so nothing major) that were both supposed to be here today, and one is in the wind, and the other got updated to estimated delivery on the 24th.

USPS sucks in every way. I hope your package gets back on track quickly.
I rent a little place in the ghetto, so I have all of my packages delivered to my lady friend’s house (1.5 hrs away).
USPS sucks there too but I don’t worry about my packages being stolen.

Maybe it's just me....
I shipped a golf club FedEx on last Monday the 12th Georgia to California
Today is Sunday the 18th
The package is still in Georgia in a city about 90 minutes away
Also, my watch has now left the facility in Puerto Rico - to where I don't know
Could be another facility in Puerto Rico - could be another continent - or maybe / hopefully to Georgia
