Re: What are you buying?
Tough @$1500. It's $140 over, but probably some kind of 104 on strap. Not sure on color, probably black or grey or white.

It was a little more ($1675), but I am geeked to get it.

Probably a Seiko SPB187, available new for under a grand.
If used was an option, it'd be a Vulcain Nautique, but it's a bit over $1500 new.

Re: What are you buying?
The Vulcain Nautique would definitely be on my radar at $1500. I just wish it was 40-42mm instead of 38mm.
Coming in way under budget would be the 42mm Hamilton Khaki Field with white dial. I somehow missed the fact that they'd come out with a larger case size for the Khaki Field.
Another candidate would be the Stowa Flieger Classic 40, handwound, no date, no logo, 'A' dial at about $1400.

Re: What are you buying?
this would be my choice (and it was a few years ago). in fact, i'm wearing it today. only under your $1500 budget on a strap ($1420), more like $1770 on the 5 link bracelet (which is what i think it looks best on).

Christopher Ward C65 Dartmouth Series 2 caught my eye recently, so I'd probably go with that.

That’s a nice looking watch.DocHollidayDDS wrote:Christopher Ward C65 Dartmouth Series 2 caught my eye recently, so I'd probably go with that.
Re: What are you buying?
Always liked the design (day/date is useful though polarizing). Of course would need to get on bracelet with adjustable clasp so would be a bit more expensive. The white one does look really nice.

Save it until I can buy something I want.
Re: What are you buying?
Under $1500 but over $1000
New “night vision” SUMO with new 70hr power reserve movement, redesigned oyster style bracelet with new clasp; new blue Lumibright lume. Satisfies my “dark side”. This model punches above it’s price point. They did a very nice job on the coating & finishing. Oh and the new “textured” charcoal dial

Probably one of the new Seiko 62mas models, either black or blue?
Re: What are you buying?
I just picked up pretty nice little watch. I would also look at Archimede I really love the price to quality ratio from them.

One of these Seiko would be my other one, or a used Doxa Sub.

Used MM300, or stretch a little for a used U50. Which is the next one on my list.

I think I'd be looking for a used Sinn 104 if I had this money to spend.
