One of the few watches I regretted selling, so this recently acquired OM isn't going anywhere.

Nice! I gifted my OM to a friend who has to sell his whole collection to keep his business afloat during the pandemic. I miss it but it’s hard at work with its new owner on construction sites in the UK.

That combination is poppin', I could see that getting tons of water and grueling outings wear. I thought the weight would feel off, but I'll bet that's the attraction for many a sultry day. Congratulation, just look at that crystal, great pic... so nice!

Thanks! This one took a village to get. A friend in London told me Bucherer had one in stock. I knew another friend was going to be there in a few weeks. I emailed and set up wire transfer telling them I was coming over on vacation and would pick it up then. Right before I was supposed to show up, I told them I had to cancel on my friends because of work but he’d pick it up for me and sent them a copy of his driver’s license to verify his identity. Both my London friend and my US friend showed up and they tried to make Chip put his name on the warranty card, but he wrote my name in before they could stop him. They were pissed off, but let him take it anyway.
