Greg Stevens has been doing weathered PVD for years. Maybe not as nice as the Panerai.

The scratched effect was perfected by Zenith as well few years ago

There is nothing in the current Panerai catalog that appeals to me, but an old school base titanium hand winder would still be a possibility.
