incoming nomos

Post by gwells » Mon Mar 27, 2023 11:50 am

just (kind of) arrived. fedex delivered to the wrong address (graham RD instead of graham CT), but thankfully it was sitting on the front porch when i drove over. *sigh*

nomos club dunkel 754, 40mm, auto, no date. just about to swap it back onto the original leather strap.

thanks! yeah, especially used, altho that was my only choice here, since they haven't made most of the dunkel models in years. this has been on my list for a long time, just seemed like something else cropped up and i jumped on it instead.

congrats greg, on the watch and rescue. enjoy that beauty.
i'm on my third nomos currently (two tone orion>navy dial worldtimer>update).
love the direction, value proposition, and design language---in that order---which may be 'backing into the brand' but same destination in the end.

Better late than never Greg. :) You can only imagine how many times a watch
like this just disappears into the ether and ends up never finding it's way to
their intended wrists sir. But thankfully this Nomos is right where it should be
and looks amazing honestly. 8-) And I was thinking about it sir, I am not
sure that a watch can look more perfect, or have any more of an exceptional
personality. :salute: I mean looking at it in your pictures I literally cannot
find one thing that doesn't look great or look flawless. It's easy on the eyes,
easy to read, fits like a glove and looks timeless.

This is a watch that I think you will enjoy more and more as the years go by
because of that timeless factor. It's everrything you want a watch to be, plus
the quality is off the charts I bet. Wishing you a GINORMOUS congratulations
on this looker !!!

thanks all (especially Tom). as it should be, it hasn't left my wrist (other than showers) since it got here Monday. it's essentially my 60th birthday present to myself (about 4 weeks early).

all of my architect friends who follow me on instagram are jonesing for it.
