Oris x Kermit
i kinda like this? i mean, at $4600, i'm not buying it, i won't spend that much on a "kitschy" watch, but... it's still interesting/unique in a not bad kinda way.

Oris with Kermit dates, Rolex with emoji dates...2023 is the year of the non-date dates.

Haha… I have no clue. Isn’t a regular date just like $5k?? Can’t you get an Exp on the used market for like 6-7k?
I guess I should research Rolex first… I quit caring when prices shot up a few years back but i though they were coming back to normal.

I have to agree Greg and the way they went about paying tribute is done in such
a cool way too I think. They didn't put his face all across the dial or anything
like that. But put him in the date window in a really ingenious way, plus gave us
this neat Kermit green dial.
I think it's awesome honestly, so thanks a bunch for the news about it !!!

The fact that I wasn’t joking means I’m going to go ahead and slowly back out of this thread and any future Rolex threads …Chocodove wrote:Hahahahahahahaha....good one.

It comes in regular colors. Not my cup of tea but with a cool Ti case and bracelet along with an in house 5 day movement I don’t mind the price.

I like this line with one large exception the dials feel like after thoughts, they look stark and cheap. However the case shape, movement and size are all awesome.

I sold a 5 digit sub w/full kit in awesome condition for 5500 right before the market lost it’s mind (and took part of mine with it)… Still nuts out thereBBK357 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 10:44 amThe fact that I wasn’t joking means I’m going to go ahead and slowly back out of this thread and any future Rolex threads …Chocodove wrote:Hahahahahahahaha....good one.

Re: Oris x Kermit
Again... what's with the price.
Way too much for what it is. And I don't mind Oris at all... but come on!
£3.7 k gbp... like... really?
I could pick up a few cool watches for that layout.
The piece reminds me of the bronze cotton candy pink watch which my best friend owns... similarly garish but on sale at Sellors / Jura over here in the UK for £1.4 k gbp... fair enough. I'd struggle to stump up anywhere near £2 k gbp for this.
