Yes, of the new releases, the Explorer is the only one that interests me.

That said, until I can actually walk into an AD and purchase one without “lists” or BS additional jewelry purchases, I’ll just admire from afar.
Rolex is funny with sizes. They called it 40mm but it’s the same case as OP41 which is actually 39.5mm by my own measurements.
I won't split hairs with Rolex if it is really only 39.5mm instead of 40. I just think this size seem proportionally correct to my eye, with the hour, minute, and seconds hands all correct to the dial size and dial indexes. The same goes to the lug width to the watch head width, it all seems to flow well together.

I just like the simplistic symmetry of the Explorer design.
Yep. My point was 39 served no one. Now they have 36 and 40(41) and everyone should be happy with Exp1

If there was confirmation it’s the same case as OP41 I’d need that Explorer.

If they’d do a 42mm Daytona, I’d get one. Don’t think I have any issue getting one, just don’t like the current sizing.

Did YM just become Rolexes Pelagos?
Yes! My name’s on the list as of this morning
Same- 1st in line. Will move the blue wave SM300 in preparation, and may move the No Date Sub41 and/or Starbucks after I pick it up.

Agreed. I’ve tried one on and it felt too small for me.

I do dig that new YM, and titanium means it'll be pretty light.
I absolutely love me titanium GS.

Everything is proportionally correct. Lume plots are the same size as 42mm Explorer 2.

That’s a definite yep. Perfect size. I haven’t bothered to check, but I’m hoping with the case size jump, they went with 22mm lugs this time…

And never mind; looks like it still has the 21mm lug width.

21mm lugs on the E1. Does the OP41 have that as well? I dunno.

yes 21mm lugs on op41. It’s the same case that Rolex randomly calls 41 when it wants to and now 40mm for Explorer 1. But it’s really a hair under 40. Regardless if you’re happy with op41 you’ll be happy with the new Explorer 40mm

I’m probably wrong but I have a funny feeling that they will still release a new Sub for the 70th anniversary.

I think you’re correct. It might be the last day of the show. I’m hoping for a black Dial Pelagos FXD.

Also digging the YM. I of course balked at the price, but then realized they are trying to give you the experience of being a yacht owner. The amount I poured into the ocean as a previous boat owner was definitely Rolex equivalent

You know what they say about the two best days of being a boat owner.
